Every year, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts tests twice for the selection of candidates for the National Defence Academy, which admits those who have passed Plus Two. Graduates in any discipline could become an officer through the Combined Defence Service Examination, held twice every year by UPSC.There are many other entry points as Commissioned Officers in the Army, Navy, and Air force.
