There is a great opportunity for Post Graduates in Science subjects. Students who have acquired a first class Masters degree in the science subjects are eligible for applying for the post of University Lecturers or attaining fellowships in the research field. The exam will be conducted at an All India Level by U.G.C& C.S.I.R on Dec 28th 2003. Application will be received up to Oct 1st. A joint entrance exam will be conducted for the Junior Research Fellowships & Lecturers in the field of Chemical Science, Mathematical Science and Physical Science. Qualification: Students who have acquired minimum 55% marks in MSc or equivalent qualification & those who have appeared for the final eligibility exam are also eligible. SC/ST candidates with 50% marks and who have obtained Masters Degree or Phd before the Sep 19, 1991 are eligible. . Candidates who are preparing for the final eligibility exam in the year 2003-2004, they are included under the category of Result Awaited (R.A) list and they will be qualified for the examination. Application should be endorsed by the Head Of the Institution last studied. The age limit should be between 19 and 28 as on the year 1.7.2003. For SC/ST, OBC, handicapped ladies relaxable up to 5 years. There is no upper age limit for the Lectureship. There are two papers for the written test. Each paper will have 200 marks. The duration for the first paper exam will be conducted between 10 and 12.15 and second paper will be between 2 and 4.30 p.m. The Questions come arises from the Scientific Knowledge and Logical Thinking.
